Comicology

Comicology has been something that I just ran out of time to do a while back, but as of late people have been sending me email asking about if I’m going to ever do another show.

I guess that this is proof of the idea of the long tail (the idea that something that was popular at one point never really goes totally away so long as the internet keeps a copy that people can get their eyes and ears on.)

So I’ll do another show, but you should expect it to be different from the way the show has sounded in the past. What I do will be on my terms, I’ll say what I want, when I want, how I want. (i.e. expect lots of talk about digital stuff, less about print stuff… which does not mean that I’ll never talk about print stuff, just that the digital content will spoken about more.) I also will not tie myself to any format or time frame for the show. Some will be short, others will be long.

Now I have to go update the fucking wordpress that this site is running on. Fun for me.

(Update: the free internet connection where I’m at did not like my attempt to FTP things… the chaos that comes with me attempting to do a hue fucking update of the software that runs this site will have to come a bit latter tonight, or in the morning…)

(Update 2: Site is now running current wordpress with a good looking theme. This makes me happy. Some of the images from prior posts did not survive the upgrade, but I’m not going to worry about that.)
