Hey people,
This show is focused on the new “Heroes For Hire” series that Marvel comics is publishing. As of this writing there are five issues of this book out, and I happen to think that all 5 of them re really fun.
I reviewed this book because right now there are lots of HUGE things going on at Marvel (and DC) that are really changing the characters A LOT, and to be honest I’m sort of evented out.
“Heores For Hire” does touch on the Civil War stuff, but the CW is not the axis that the book is turning on. Rather, HFH is a really fun book that gets back to the basics of superhero comics. It is a book where a team of good girls / guys takes on the bad people. There is lots of fighting, and trash talking. Though the comic i back to basics it has a story that keeps the reader guessing bout some things. The plot is good, and the character development is really fun to watch.
The art in the book is some great stuff. Top notch.
I give the book a 6.5 out of 10.
